Since September 2016, Lymefield Arts & Crafts has been running out of the Outdoor Learning Centre in Broadbottom, Cheshire. Filled to the brim with the fantastic work of local artists and craftspeople, Lymefield Arts & Crafts has become a haven for those looking for something unique and one-off.

Maxine's delicious homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee has drawn in customers, where they can find more than just cake. A friendly smile and good conversation is always to be found.

Lymefield Arts & Crafts opened it's doors in September 2016 after  free machine embroidery artist Maxine Pigram had a vision to bring together and display and sell the work of local artists and craftspeople.

It began with just 8 local people and over the years has grown to over 70 talented creatives.

Very soon craft classes were added and the venue has hosted literary and folk music nights as well.

Maxine's other talent is baking and a few tables to serve homemade cake and coffees were soon added.  This too grew as the Centre became a venue for people to come and meet and chat and make new friends in a friendly and welcoming environment.

With the event of the Covid pandemic things have had to change and adapt.  The eat in cafe has been set aside for just takeaway.  Up until November this year the lovely space around the building provided a very pleasant place to sit and chat and continue to meet with friends  and still  enjoy homemade soup,  cake and drink good coffee!

If you see anything you wish to purchase or see we are open for click and collect on the days we are open for takeaway.   We operate a takeaway refreshment service on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Hope to see you very soon.
